# Meta Pixel Retrieval

#### 🔍 What is a Meta Pixel?

The Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.). It works by tracking the actions users take on your website after seeing or clicking on an ad.

#### 🧭 Steps to find your Meta Pixel

**✅ Step 1: Log in to your Business Manager**

1. Go to [Meta Business Manager](https://business.facebook.com/).
2. Log in using your administrator account.

**✅ Step 2: Access the "Events" Area**

1. In the main menu, click on **"Business settings"**.
2. Then, go to **"Data sources" > "Pixels"**.

**✅ Step 3: Select the right Pixel**

* A list of Pixels associated with your business will appear.
* Select the one you want to use.
* Note the **name** and **ID** of your Pixel (often a 15-digit number).
